Terms of membership

Being finalised. This terms of membership is the current wording and is being checked before it is signed off. Any change will be published here.

Last updated 24 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and YBC Society when you create an account or join the membership on ybcsociety.co.za. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

The membership

YBC Society is a monthly membership for traders. Members get video lessons, written lessons and PDFs, live calls and access to the members-only community, for as long as their membership is paid up.

You must be 18 or older to join.

Payment

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page in the members area. PayFast stops future payments and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We may end a membership for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; in that case the current month is not refunded.

Your account

The content

The lessons, videos, PDFs, live calls and everything else inside the membership belong to YBC Society. They are for your own learning. Do not copy, record, share, resell or publish them, in whole or in part, and do not give anyone else access to them.

Community rules

What you post is yours, but by posting it you give YBC Society permission to show it to other members inside the community.

Trading risk

Trading carries real risk, and you can lose money, including all the money you trade with. Everything inside the membership is education and the founder's own experience. It is not financial advice tailored to you, and nothing on the site or in the community is a recommendation to make a particular trade. Results other members share are their own and are no promise of what you will achieve. Decide for yourself, and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version is published here with a new date. For a change that affects members, we email you at least 14 days before it takes effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
